Feedback
November 5, 2008

"The Lost Japan tour was a marvellous way to explore history, culture and landscapes of Japan. Although we were a very
inhomgeneous group our leader was able to satisfy all of the participants. Due to her outstanding knowledge about Japan and her excellent
organisation skills we could experience a very exciting but carefree trip."

Group Travel
October 29, 2008

We know group travel may not be for everyone but as our travellers know we're not exactly the big bus "you have 30 min here before we take
you shopping" style of tour. Small groups, local leaders, local accommodation and plenty of free time mean you see what you want to see
with all the background work taken care of. And of course, because our leaders know the places we go very well you'll see the area like a
local and get away from the guidebook crowd.

A quote from a feedback on Tatsuya's
Land of the Rising Sun tour:
"The trip was excellent. I had never done a group trip before and was worried there would be a lot of time wasted - but this was
not the case. We go to do many things we could not have done on our own."

Responsible Travel
June 29, 2008

We do take responsible travel seriously, a fact appreciated by a traveller on Yuka's recent Land of the Rising Sun tour

"I was surpised that our leader formally spoke about responsible travel. I thought it might have been a throw away line like so many
businesses these days, but in fact an effort was made. We used reusable chopsticks at all times and sought to cut down on packaging."

Summer evenings in Kyoto
June 15, 2008

A recommendation from Hiro for those balmy summer evenings in Kyoto is sitting by the banks of the Kamo River which flows through the
main part of the city. On warm evenings restaurants set up terraces over river and locals hang out with a sake or two and a picnic, enjoying
the ambiance.

But beware:
"We had dinner on the bank of Kamo gawa. While I was having my sandwich, I was attacked by a hawk. I felt a shock but I
couldn't understand what happened for a while. Then I realized a huge hawk flying in front of us was enjoying my sandwich. I wasn't injured
at all, only had my food stolen!"
