Tokyo is a fusion of both ancient and modern worlds. Discover the best of Old Edo and her 'downtown' area, as well as all the highlights of New Tokyo, including Kabuki Theatre, Sony technology, stunning Japanese gardens, Ginza shopping, Sumo training, and Neon jungles. Then, keep your camera at the ready as you rush past the majestic Mt Fuji at over 250km/hour on the Shinkansen bullet train on your way to Kyoto. Of the 2000 or more temples and shrines in Kyoto, we have selected a few of our favourites to share with you. Visit a local market and participate in a traditional tea ceremony. Keep your eyes peeled for the eye catching sight of an elegantly attired Geisha during an evening walk through the district of Gion.

Day 1 Tokyo A high-energy fusion of ancient and modern, Tokyo is one of the most amazing cities in Asia.
Days 2-3 Tokyo Sightseeing Enjoy a private guided tour of Tokyo, visiting highlights old and new. Try Japanese cuisine, experience the hospitality of a traditional inn and travel with the locals on a world-class public transport system. Be sure to sample some delicious Japanese cuisine at the Tsukiji Fish Market, at 6:00am the sushi can't be beaten for freshness.
Day 4 Tokyo/ Kyoto Catch a glimpse of Mt Fuji from the Shinkansen bullet train on your journey south to the old capital of Japan.
Days 5-6 Kyoto With a private guide, explore the main sights of Kyoto, such as Nijo Castle, Ryoanji Shrine and the stunning Kiyomizudera Temple, where you can take a reflective stroll along its philosophers' path.
Day 7 Depart Kyoto Grab one last chance to buy some special souvenirs or do some final sightseeing
