Mt. Fuji Marathon Package Japan 5 days ex Tokyo
The Fuji Mountain Race is the most difficult climbing race in Japan! It is an event with two races, both of which begin at Fujiyoshida City Hall. The first is a 21 km course to the summit of Mt. Fuji (elevation to 3,000 meters) and the second is a 15 km course to the Fifth Station of the mountain (elevation to 1,480 meters).

Entry fees Entries for the 2009 Fuji Mountain Marathon are now opened. Please contact us today to secure your spot.
Qualifying times There are no qualifying times for the Fuji Mountain Marathon.
Start time The opening ceremony starts at City Hall Inner Courtyard at 6.30am. The Summit Race starts at 7:00am
Cut-off times There is a progressive cut-off time for the Fuji Mountain Marathon: for the Summit Race you must reach the 5th Station by 10:00am and the 8th Station by 11:30am. If you do not make it to these checkpoints you must descend the mountain. Both races must be completed by 11:30am
Race timing Race timing will be conducted using a RC Chip.

Aid stations There will be aid stations spread along the course however the exact distance between aid stations is yet to be confirmed.
Personal refreshments and clothing Be sure to wear proper clothing for this race. A change of clothing and other belongings will be taken from City Hall to the 5th Station by bus. You must pack them to stay dry and do not include any valuables. The other alternative is to use the City Hall lockers

Transport Race entry includes transportation from the Fifth Station back to Fujiyoshida City Hall.
Expo There will not be an expo. Registration will be conducted at the front of Fujiyoshida City Hall either the day before between 3-6pm or on race day between 5:30 - 6:30am.
Weather conditions The average July temperature at Fujiyoshida City Hall is 25°C (77°F). Note that the temperature at the summit may well be below freezing
